Cookies & storage
This page explains the cookies, browser storage and analytics used by MyMoneyType. It supplements our privacy notice.

Browser storage used by the quiz
After you start the quiz, the site stores a random session token named mymoneytype_session in your browser's local storage. It is used to resume an in-progress quiz and reopen the result belonging to that session. It does not contain your answers, email address or payment details, and it is not used for advertising.
Local storage remains until it is cleared, replaced or removed. You can clear it through your browser's site-data controls. The server-side records and their retention are described in the privacy notice.
Cookies
The application currently does not set a first-party cookie for the quiz. Stripe Checkout is hosted by Stripe and may use cookies or similar technologies on Stripe's pages. Those pages are subject to Stripe's own privacy information and controls.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies. When enabled, it records aggregate information such as page views and quiz-interaction events so we can understand how the service is used and improve it. Our event calls do not send quiz answers, session tokens, email addresses or payment details. We do not use these events to advertise to you or sell analytics identifiers.
Analytics is controlled by the deployment configuration. It is loaded after the page is ready when the deployment has enabled it, and it is not used for advertising.
